  • Hurumsprinten with waffles

    This weekend theres gonna be a big event happening in Hurummarka. A lot of people will come to watch the annual car race and camp in front of our house.

    We wish to connect with others that care in one way or another about this forest and to see how we can fight the factory together. Therefore we thought it would be nice to hand out waffels, tea, coffee and self made prints. In the evenings we will create a cinema space and watch ‘Earths Greatest Enemy’ and ‘Flåklyppa’.

    If you wanna help us you can come by, donate to us and/or help us with giving out waffles and making this house even more cozy.

  • Meeting with the Municipality

    Today the municipality will come by at ⏰ 4:30pm to talk about the “continued use” of the house.

    ❗️We all are invited.
    This talk creates a space were every voice must be heard.

    As the house connects us in the fight against the weapon factory in Hurummarka, this matters for all of us!

  • Natur eller Bomber?

    Fredslaget Oslo og omegn inviterer til innledning og panelsamtale om Chemring Nobels planlagte sprengstoffabrikk i Hurummarka.

    Arrangementet starter kl 13:00.

    Det blir først en innledning fra naturverner og fredsaktivist Marie Helene Sønstabø om sakskomplekset rundt den planlagte fabrikken. Så blir det panelsamtale, før vi åpner for spørsmål og kommentarer fra publikum.

    – Marie Helene Sønstabø, naturverner, fredsaktivist og styremedlem i Folkeaksjonen for Hurummarka

    Vi får også en videohilsen fra den autonome gruppa i det okkuperte huset i Avgrunnsdalen i Hurummarka. Gruppa kjemper mot planene om ny våpenfabrikk.

  • Visit of Latin-Amerikagruppene

    “From when we wake up until we go to bed, there is something to fight for.” – Darinson fra CNA.

    Today we had visitors from Colombia, Guatemala, and Brasil through Latin-Amerikagruppene (LAG). We talked about how our struggles are connected, how we can learn from each other, and in what ways our struggles are also different. While it can be hard in Norway it to mobilize people to go outside their daily routines, our guests live in places where they don’t have a choice but to fight for their existence. And many of their struggles are produced by the norwegian state (e.g. Statkraft, equinor, hydro) and encountered with weapons that are part of the norwegian military industry.

    Check out the work of Via Campesina, MST, CNA, Conavigua and LAG to learn more. Stop norwegian colonialism in Latin America (also the “green” version)! No more explosives for imperial wars and land grabbing!

  • Pressemelding: Utkastelse fra Avgrunnsdalen

    Asker Kommune har gitt oss kort frist på å forlate den gamle militærbrakka i Rødbyveien 43. Denne fristen er nå utløpt og vi er fortsatt interesserte i å ha en dialog med kommunen om militærbrakka og om vår tilstedeværelse der. 

    Huset var i elendig forfatning da vi kom dit, og det har siden blitt ryddet og vasket av oss. Vår tilstedeværelse vil bidra til ivaretakelse av et bygg som allerede hadde forfalt og ikke vært i aktiv bruk på flere år. 

    Mange i lokalbefolkningen støtter vår tilstedeværelse og vi har planer om å fortsette å gi tilbake til lokalmiljøet. Vi oppfordrer alle til å komme innom og ta en kaffe.

    Under Hurumsprinten i år, vil vi bidra til at publikum i Avgunnsdalen får et trygt og godt opphold i forbindelse med forskjellige morsomme innslag. Vi kommer også til å servere vafler.

    Ved siden av å støtte Hurumsprinten har vi arrangementet Ekstrem Oppussing som strekker seg fra mandag 13. til søndag 19. Her kan bli med å bygge, campe og ta del i forskjellige aktiviteter rundt om i leiren. Dette er åpent for alle som vil vise solidaritet til kampen mot krigsmaskinen. Ta med telt, mat og en maske hvis du vil.

    It is so calming to wake up to the sounds of the birds in this beautiful forest and of the stream next to our house, even if it is heavily polluted.

    Remember, tomorrow is waffles not weapons saturday! Come by, bring some friends, share this flyer widely. You are also welcome to bring a tent and stay over night 🏕🌙

  • All is quiet over here ❤️‍🔥

    We haven’t heard anything from the municipality yet.

    We are dedicated to stay and we hope for many more visitors in the next days. We invite you to join our climbing skillshare and waffles on saturday. For next week we are looking forward to prepare a little program for visitors of the “Hurumsprinten” car ralley that will pass by in front of our house on the 18th of April. More infos about both events will follow soon!

    We are so inspired to keep fighting because of all the support we received in past days. So many locals passed by and shared their appreciation for our squat and we got to connect to local and national organisations. All this shows how broad the resistance against Chemring, the state and their death factory is. We can not let Norwegian complicity in genocide and imperial wars continue and that’s why we decided to stay in the house at all costs. Come by in the next days to support and connect with us.
