Today (october 7th), Asker municipality decided to uphold the demolition permit of our house in Avgrunnsdalen.

By doing this, they override the fylkekommune’s recommendation to not demolish a fully usable house for 1.2 million kroners of public money.

They speak in favor of destroying Rolf Røskestads culturally valuable painting of the Oslofjord, representing the Norwegian resistance against fascism WW2 (how ironic).
An they speak in favor of constructing Chemrings war factory in Hurummarka.

They only continue their process of trying to silence our protest against Chemrings factory, which has since the start been full of bureaucratic sloppyness and undemocratic procedures.
We have not forgotten Asker municipality’s AI hallucinations, their attempt to circumvent treating the demolition of our house politically, or their attempts to portray us as russian agents and criminals.
All of this is part of their attempt to silence our resistance, because they rightfully fear that it is growing, becoming more diverse, and gaining popular support. We are becoming a thorn in the eyes of the state and Chemring Nobel and this is why they try to remove us as quickly and silently as possible.

But the last word hasnt been spoken yet. The final decision about the demolition will now be forwarded to a higher instance, the Statsforvalter.

This means, that now is the time to get engaged and show that we are many, that we are determined, and that we reject the construction of this factory that will only produce death and war.
